How the energy crisis in Europe has affected transformer insulation supplies!
We are all aware of the acute energy crisis European Union is going through in recent times. The cost of electricity, gasoline and cost of natural gas all have almost doubled from their earlier levels. Even after this, the supply of energy is not enough to suffice the demand. Many companies have evoked the ‘Force de Majeure’ clause in their contracts and have started levying energy surcharges ranging from 10 to 25 % on their supplies.
Europe is the largest supplier of unbleached kraft paper pulp used in the production of insulation press boards and papers, the crisis has affected both the prices and the supplies of Transformer insulation raw materials in the market. Even at escalated prices, enough material is not available to feed the existing demand.
We at Pristine Technologies and Industries, are glad that we are being able to fulfill our commitments even in these turbulent times due to strong supply chain integration.
Hoping for the situation to improve quickly and for world peace.
